Advanced Vapor Technologies makes several
steam vapor machines to clean, sanitize and deodorize. Steam
vapor cleaning is so unique that AVT found that peoples
eyes glazed over when they attempted to explain what the
product did. Telling every prospect was an difficult job.
They needed to multiply their efforts.
In addition, they found that many of their
customers were not using the product correctly, dealers
were getting complaints about the cleaning ability of the
machines.
AVT does many trade shows and needed to
be able to stop attendees in their tracks when they walked
by the booth.
Solution
A 5 minute marketing and sales movie was
created to show the steam machine in a working environment.
The movie was integrated into an interactive CD to be sent
to dealers and prospects. When AVT’s dealers saw the
CD they wanted a version of their own so for most dealers,
a special version was created expressly for that dealer.
For showing customers the proper techniques
for the machines, a 40 minute DVD-Video was created. For
the hearing impaired, subtitles were included as a user
option.
Taking the content for the sales and training
movies, a special trade show DVD was created showing the
machines in operation.
Result
Prospects can now readily see the efficacy
of steam vapor systems. Dealers also have a easier job of
convincing their customers that steam really works. Seeing
is believing.
Because of the CD and DVDs, 2004 sales of
AVT steam vapor machines have exceeded all previous years.
The cost of the content development has paid for itself
many times over.
